These terms apply to anyone visiting blackloft.studio. They cover the site, the contact form, and the baseline rules that apply when you brief us.
If we sign a project contract, that contract is the source of truth. These terms fill in the gaps it does not address.
You can read the site, share links to it, and quote short passages with attribution.

The contact form is an opening, not a contract. Sending us a brief does not commit either side to anything.
A project starts when both sides sign a written agreement that names the scope, the fee, and the timeline. Before that, anything we send (estimates, treatments, references) is for discussion, not delivery.
Everything on this site (copy, layout, code, photography, video, generated stills) belongs to Blackloft Studio or to the people we credit. It is not in the public domain.
Project work moves on different rules. The project contract sets out exactly what rights transfer, when they transfer, and for what use. Default position: rights pass on full payment, scoped to the agreed channels.
Talent likeness and personality rights stay with the person depicted, regardless of the contract between studio and client. We will not licence likeness rights we do not hold.
The site is provided as-is. We try to keep it accurate and online, but we do not promise it will be error-free or always available.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site (lost profits, lost data, business interruption). Our total liability for anything connected to the site is capped at €100.
Liability for project work is set by the project contract, not by these terms.
Nothing here limits liability for things the law says cannot be limited (fraud, gross negligence, personal injury).
Data handling is covered on the privacy page. Tracking by cookies and similar technology is covered on the cookies page. By using this site you agree to those terms.
These terms are governed by Latvian law and EU regulation. Disputes go to the courts of Riga, Latvia, unless EU consumer law gives you the right to your local court.
Consumers in the EU can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
These terms change when the studio's practice changes. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
